Gabriela is a Family Nurse Practitioner, nationally credentialed through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated from Purdue University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later graduated from Chamberlain University with her Master of Science in Nursing. Gabriela worked as a nurse for seven years in Chicago in the ICU and medical-surgical department and has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for four years in Primary Care. She and her family came for vacation to Livingston and fell in love with the strong sense of community and decided to make Livingston their home. Gabriela is passionate about health promotion and disease prevention. She loves empowering patients and believes that optimal health is achieved through shared decision making between the patient and provider. In her free time, Gabriela enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, baking, listening to music, and traveling.
